Description: The scientist and his wife go into the mountains in search of a fallen meteorite, which theoretically should contain a rare mineral atmospherium. Meanwhile in a cave close by lies the legendary skeleton Corpse, which was only waiting for a chance to return to life with atmospherium. Meanwhile, in a nearby scaffold landing spacecraft, after which the local population begins to terrorize unknown to science monster.
Review: “The lost skeleton of a Cadavra” is not the usual parody of horror movies, this stylized horror films of the 50-ies and 60-ies. He was shot in black and white and in skeletonema”, according to the creators. Story retell pointless, for he repeats the storyline parodied object.
The film is interesting because it is not purely external manifestations of humor. Everything that happens in the film as seriously as ridicule the subject. However, the humor is based on excessive hyperbole “gaffes” fiction and horror specified time.
Acting is admirable. They play as bad as in these horror movies, but all the absurdity of what was happening on the screen, causing laughter (by the way, as these horror movies). However, if a horror film is removed, to cause fear, the parody is removed, to cause laughter. So acting the most well suited to the film.
Another plus is the special effects. They cause as much laughter as acting. The skeleton was shot deliberately silly, often we are shown extending from its extremities rope so that he moves. The monster even more funny, he is just as fake as the real monsters. And the final battle scene monster skeleton is generally reminiscent of tango.
In General, “the Lost skeleton of a Corpse” is worthy of respect. Director Larry Blackmar, gathering his film pieces of the templates of fantastic films, has created a great Comedy. Of course, the film is intended primarily for those who are familiar with all the templates.

Deliberate spoofs of classic bad movies usually fall flat, but Cadavra benefits from being played completely straight and the fact that everyone involved seems to be having a pretty great time. A few gags land with a thud, but things move at a nice pace and the movie never feels like a chore. Plus, Fay Masterson’s American accent is fantastic. I’d somehow never heard of Blamire, but I’m very happy to have discovered his work.
