“Scientist Stephen Arrowsmith finds his wife’s lover and brutally killing both of them, the heart of the bodies of victims of cuts and cementing them with a dagger, put in a container of water. Before his death, his wife tells him that she has had time to change his will, according to which all legacy will get her half-sister, Jenny, being in a mental hospital. Steven decides that the best way out of this situation will be marrying Jenny, after which it will become full owner of the entire state.
