Description: Okay, time to bring on the woody jokes. Here it is… the film that scared the pants off a whole generation of kids in the 60’s, when it was a television staple. George Coulouris plays a mad scientist with a flesh-eating tree in his subterranean laboratory. Together with his bongo-playing henchman, he feeds a bevy of scantily clad beauties to the monstrous tree.
Review: A scientist learns from a friend that one of the exotic countries, there is a mysterious tribe. He gathers a team and sent to the designated place where watching the ceremony of bringing girls in sacrifice to the tree. 5 years later he is already at home, in England, caught naive girls and brings them to sacrifice that very tree that was brought with them. All this is done for a reason, and a purpose.
In fact, eating women, this plant secretes a substance that can raise the dead. All would have continued, if not another girl that was fired from the amusement Park and come to get to this Professor to work. She and her new friend from the garage may well prevent the insidious plans of a madman…
