The man known as the Cross Bearer is a religious zealot who believes that it is his calling to rid the world of sin and vice, by violence when necessary. Heather is broke. She has job as a stripper. Her live-in girlfriend, Victoria, has a baby and a coke problem. Her boss, Harry, is an abusive maniac. Life cannot get much worse – or so Heather thought. Determined to get out of this living hell, Heather and her lover, a woman named Bunny, plan to rip off Harry, ditch Victoria, leave town, and live out their days in peaceful bliss on the Greek Islands. One big score is all they need. Harry gives them an opportunity for one, when he asks them to exchange drugs for money at an old warehouse. As Heather and her friends arrive, everything is going well, until they make a grizzly discovery and are trapped inside the warehouse by the rambling, religious maniac: The Cross Bearer. Armed with a carpenter’s hammer and a fanatic passion, the Cross Bearer hunts Heather and her friends down one-by-one in a sadistic crusade to clean the world of filth. Unflinchingly raw, primal, and horrifying, “Cross Bearer” is a gory journey into the darkest, most vile part of mankind.
