Bad Manners

 In this movie, Wes (David Strathairn) and Nancy (Bonnie Bedelia) are a married  couple. She has long been a tenured professor at Harvard; he teaches at a finishing school. They host Nancy’s long-ago lover Matt, a musicologist who is one his way to give a lecture at Harvard, and his current young girlfriend Kim, a computer scientist who has collaborated with Matt on his musical analysis.  Jealousy, tension, and rudeness dominate the dealings among the four.  Soon after the couples get together,  Wes, who has had an acrimonious relationship with Kim since they first met, tells Nancy that he thinks Kim has stolen 50 dollars  from his wallet and things get even worse.
