Description: Documentary which examines the influence of legendary horror film directors on a world cinema, there are the most prominent figures of this kind, from John Carpenter (Prince of Darkness) to George Romero (Dawn of the Dead)  …

Review: With absolute uncertainty director and actors, the triviality of the plot and the minimum budget, yet the screenplay contains some seed from which an attentive viewer will extract the philosophical sense. It begins with the massacre in the woods, then the action is transferred to the next year, when a group of young people who are going to Halloween, meets a strange girl at the bar. The girl heard them talking about the worst in life, to hear what they called a local station “American nightmare” and has expressed an interest. Further – pretty dumb slasher, made the model “Scream”, but this is contrary postmodernism. There is a return to basics, to the Carpenter. Here the identity of the killer is not important, whether his motives. In this universe, the logic should all put aside. Crime – especially one – fundamentally punishable. And in the final killer cries in her bed and her father sings a lullaby … It is very strong, though not terrible, but rather the contrary. Written script gives the impression “left foot” in one day, but it’s not in it. Would be an idea …
