Description: In case you haven’t heard of this by now, it’s an awesome prototype slasher/giallo hybrid by Sergio Martino, the director of an old incest movie Loving Cousins. Torso is one of my favourite giallos. Sleazy sex murders in a college campus with many beautiful students girls, a cool black-gloved killer, many suspects and Martino´s stylish direction bringing great atmospheres and well filmed murders scenes. What more do you need? Suzy Kendall (Story of A Cloistered Nun), Tina Aumont (Malizia), Angela Covello, Carla Brat, John Richardson and the always awesome Luc Merenda. Martino in the 70´s was one of the kings. The last 30 minutes in the Villa are a demonstration of this man´s talent behind the camera, almost without dialogue he creates an overwhelming and palpable sense of suspense and terror.
