Description: At the tail end of her vacation in Turkey, American tourist Gene LePere (Lee Remick) buys some souvenir trinkets from a street vendor, only to find herself sent to court and thence to a prison hellhole for trying to smuggle antiquities out the country. Now LePere must navigate brutal prison life while advocates try to prove her innocence to a hopelessly corrupt Turkish justice system in this made-for-television drama based on a true story.
