Description: A contender for 1980’s best-of-the-worst honors, Gold Raiders has never received the deluxe widescreen anamorphic DVD treatment it so richly does not deserve. To date, this Japanese laserdisc is the closest this gem comes to a proper video presentation. While the image still isn’t as wide as it could be, the added scope does justice to Robert Ginty’s para sailing motorcycle escapades. What’s more, the extra boost in image clarity renders the rubber fish with a new level of realism, and Sarah Langenfeld’s wet n’ wild battle ready breasts attain even greater grandeur.
Robert Ginty stars in this jungle action movie that features a rubber shark, giant vampire bats (with glowing eyes) and a “space-age” flying motorcycle. What more do you need?
