Description:

Since 1996 film director Michal Kosakowski has already been asking individuals who have different backgrounds about their particular murder aspirations. He supplied them the opportunity to stage their dreams as brief films. Truly the only problem had been that they had to operate in these films by themselves, either as perpetrators or sufferers. Even more than a decade later on, Kosakowski arrived across these people when again to ask them about their thoughts throughout their acts of murder or victimization, and interviewed them about current social topics these kinds of as war, media, torture, revenge, terrorism, home-based physical violence, the demise penalty, committing suicide etc.

If someone murdered an individual you love, how would you feel about it? Should torture be legalized? Are troops murderers? Simply just how to determine evil and good? Their replies are juxtaposed aided by the brief movies based on these ‘non-criminal’ fantasies made accessible to viewers. At the same time, the individuals’ respective replies assist viewers to get better acquainted with them and their incredibly diverse social and expert backgrounds. It’s the banality of their acts that frightens us therefore badly, their stabbing of innocent people, their orgiastic throttling of marriage lovers or their random shooting of naive website people to events.

‘Zero Killed’ takes the issue one step further: the movie deciphers typical habits and clichés of visual violence because of the aid of this protagonists’ immediate and direct reviews.

The outcome is an unconventional hybrid of function movie and documentary that makes audience question their social and individual positions regarding moral and ethical taboos and values.
