Description: THE DEVIL’S MEN, originally released in the U.S. in an edited version titled LAND OF THE MINOTAUR, is presented uncut and in its proper aspect ratio on DVD for the first time in the U.S.! Tourists on a Greek isle are disappearing, and the local priest (Donald Pleasance) enlists some help to find out why. In the process, they run afoul of a satanic cult led by Peter Cushing, who sacrifices people to a talking, fire-breathing Minotaur statue. Although all this sounds awesome on the surface, THE DEVIL’S MEN unfortunately suffers from slow pacing, terrible dialouge, and a total absence of suspense. But hey, you get Peter Cushing battling Donald Pleasance, a satanic cult, and a few boobies, so what’s not to like?
Review: Baron Karofaks professes cult of Satan on a remote island. Fr Roche is the only inhabitant of the island, which is not involved in Satanism. On the island begin to disappear foreign students who are victims of satanic rituals.
