Description: Another gem from the heyday of made-for-television films NIGHT CRIES casts Susan Saint James (McMILLAN & WIFE) as a new mother traumatized by news that her baby has died. Unable to move on she is beset by eerie dreams as well as the sound of a child crying. The woman and her husband (Michael Parks of THEN CAME BRONSON) seek the help of a scientist (CANNON’s William Conrad) who facility researches dreams to try to unravel the mystery of her nightly visions. The woman becomes convinced her child is still alive and trying to reach out to her. Written by Brian Taggert (VISITING HOURS, OF UNKNOWN ORIGIN) and directed by Richard Lang (THE MOUNTAIN MEN) NIGHT CRIES also features Jamie-Smith Jackson, Cathleen Nesbitt, and Dolores Dorn in its cast.
