All Souls Day: Dia de los Muertos

In a quaint Mexican village, Vargas Diaz discovers a concealed Aztec temple within a nearby mine. He tricks the villagers into entering it, then seals them inside by detonating the entrance, effectively sacrificing them in exchange for immortality. Decades later, a young couple on their college break stumbles upon the now-desolate community. Their vacation takes a turn for the bizarre when they encounter what seems to be a funeral procession, leading them to unearth the grim history of the area. It is revealed that to satisfy the spirits of the original village inhabitants, a human sacrifice is made every Day of the Dead at the local church. This time, however, the couple’s interference disrupts the ritual. As a result, the angered spirits rise to hunt down those who disturbed them. In desperation, the couple calls two friends to aid in their survival. Together, they must fend off the undead onslaught targeting their hotel, all while trying to solve the complex mysteries hidden within the establishment’s walls.
