Nacho is a Native American from Mexico who works a cafe owned by the nasty Don Lazaro who ensures Nacho is constantly reminded of his status as the lowest of low servants.
Nacho’s menial life is given a glimmer when he falls in love with the alcoholic drug addict Lola who frequents the cafe. Lola is obsessed sexually with a local wrestler Gardenia Wilson who avoids her. Lola indulges her frustrations and sadistic streaks by humiliating Nacho who doesn’t seem to care. Soon, Nacho is influenced into donning the role of an assassin to kill Franco – a task he believes will impress Lola. Nacho’s world and obsession soon drifts into one of magic realism as he strives to impress and win over the love of his life while risking everything.
