Description: Wife of Dr. George called Susan gets in the hospital with asthmatic complications. Nothing portends trouble. But soon George hears from his brother Henry that Susan died. Returning home after the funeral, George learns that as insurance he receives two million dollars. This is really unexpected, because George thought that Susan hated him for what he had to constantly blackmail her. In the evening, George and his new girlfriend Martha go to a bar, where George sees stripper Monica is like two peas similar to his deceased wife. After the execution of her dance Monica sits at their table. George scrutinized her. He notices that her eyes are green, while, like Susan were brown. Later, Monica seduces him. Meanwhile, the insurance company “hit” on the money, and the police are trying to get to the true causes of death, Susan. In the room they find Monica piece of paper that proves that she practiced in forging signatures Susan. Soon it becomes clear that Susan’s death was not accidental: she was poisoned. Naturally, the prime suspects is George. Detective insurance company and the police are trying to get to the truth, and George tries to establish true identity of her new lover …
Review: This film Una sull’altra directed by Lucio Fulci (Cat in the Brain and Zombi 2) has one landmark moment in all his work, because it does not belong to the genre of comedy, to whom he had previously given a lot of years, and explores the action-orientation film – a thriller. Of course, the story is not in any way future Jalla and certainly not a horror, but the splash of the dark side of his aesthetic creator Fulci tries it with this work, which will be very pleasing to the admirers of his talent, to meet a kind of turning point.
The film One on Top of the Other constructs a psychological thriller based on the crime, with interesting detective moves in its ending so even with serious adverse showing passion and intrigue, both in Hamlet. By the way, pleasing introduction unpredictable effect of chance in history when the viewer will be pleasantly surprised at all unexpected outcome in a thrilling climax. Originally based in the story before us opens its doors everyday reserve until only acquaintance with the characters of the film – a young doctor, inherited governing hospital, which provides newspapers loud baseless words about upcoming brilliant organ transplants, live in a mansion with a nagging (for women rejected like quite naturally) the patient’s wife to avoid her company, preferring to spend time with his mistress, a photographer, felt for him sincere feelings …
And this series could be a long time, if his wife suddenly died of asthma. Like fate itself on the side of the main character – the hated gave up the ghost, he can in good conscience start life with a close woman, and besides, not least by the insurance a couple of million dollars to transfer the deceased bequeathed the entire amount to him. From the beginning of this amateur detective pushes along the way with the police investigation, where we are seeing the audience as clearly innocent trying to figure out what’s the matter. He is assisted in love with him, all the forces looking for an easy answer to too improbable chance to meet the twin of the deceased.
