Description: I’m glad to present to you a super rare and obscure sci-fi\horror movie “Stridulum”. Look at the cast and you’ll notice so many famous people act in this movie. Basically it’s a great cheesy time capsule, with some heavy hitters like Glenn Ford, Lance Henricksen, and Shelley Winters…kinda in the vein of The Omen…plus SHELLEY WINTERS is in it!
A powerful man Raymond starts to care for the widow Barbara Collins. But about his love of moods she could not deceive ourselves – in fact Raymond performs the job of a mysterious community, who wanted to get at its disposal some alien force, the winner of which would be to the child, Barbara.

Once again I am forced to comment on the nonsensical discourse above on the plot and review. I implore whoever is putting these incomprehensible Google translations together to desist forthwith.
The plot details are meaningless, look at the above description and compare with the IMDB description here:-
“John Huston stars as an intergalactic warrior who joins a cosmic Christ figure in battle against a demonic 8-year-old girl, and her pet hawk, while the fate of the universe hangs in the balance. Multi-dimensional warfare, pre-adolescent profanity and brutal avian attacks combine to transport the viewer to a state unlike anything they’ve experienced… somewhere between Hell and the darkest reaches of outer space.” Now what is so difficult about putting this on the site?
Please use recognised sites for descriptions and keep the reviews brief and grammatically correct avoiding pseudo intellectual drivel and psycho babble.
Apart from that, this is a great site! 🙂

Avoid this lame-ass film, unless you have some time to kill and a desire to sit through tripe in order to get a few laughs. The girl’s southern drawl is amusing, as is the effects and plot devices used here. The stars must have thought this would parallel Star Wars or something, otherwise it’s just embarrassing for them. The only way to view this movie in a positive light, is if you grew up with it and have fond memories of watching it as a kid…but why would that be, if there are SO many other much better films out there from the same time frame to get all nostalgic about? This is a ‘so bad it’s just…bad’ flick. Avoid.
