Review: “Comedy of Innocence” – a very strange film. No, I, of course, much revised strange films and surrealism in film familiar firsthand, but this movie to me (at least not yet) not even to compare or put in one row. It seems most appropriate to recall Andrzej Zulawski (Szamanka and Public Woman) – infantilism going on and sometimes strange behavior of the characters were sometimes emerge in the memories of his films.
From the first frame of the picture attracts unusual (in my view) camera work, strange style of shooting, which is fascinating, not letting off the screen and making it clear that soon it will be interesting. The story, it’s worth noting, and the truth can wait no longer.
