This movie is often puzzled with her 1974 movie “an instance of Rape”. This might be 1979, and instead of being raped she get’s the crap assaulted out of her during a terrible mugging. Liz plays a TV journalist whom is a tad bit on the liberal side. She ruffles a couple of feathers with her point of view about rich ladies wearing fur coats wondering to be mugged. AHA! Then she herself is mugged and exactly what a difference a day makes. Instant we see her changed into paranoid, conservative crime target whom is left mentally and physically scarred. She also goes on the news with a rambling editorial about crime that p***es her viewers and station off even more than the previous parts about empathy for criminal offenders. Liz is gorgeous as constantly, even a much better actress than many people believe of her. This film is a far cry from “Bewitched”. San Francisco never seemed more frightening than it does in this movie. A tad bit sensationalized but nonetheless an enjoyable movie that holds your attention from start to finish. Sean Frye is particularly good as her kid, as well as the remainder of the cast. Not quite as good as “A Case of Rape” but a close second.
