My thanks to your mom for having great taste in great trash (which I say with a smile). I first rented PHOENIX THE WARRIOR wayyyyyyyyy back in the day when it first came out on VHS (never got a Theatrical Release). It was a hit (kept most of us teen and post-teen video boys coming back to the store to rent it again and again). It did have a couple of Cable TV airings (SHOWTIME and USA Network during the 1980s), but after about ’93, it was assumed lost and forgotten. Man, it was pleasure to see this again. Now, I can enjoy it with a beer (couldn’t back then–age thing!). Keep the great films coming. (Plus, Persis Khambatta with HAIR–and ATTITUDE–still rocks. ^_^ )

I first watched this flick when it first came out. I was about 6, and watched it at a babysitters house. It became my favourite movie. I continue to love it till this day. It is very unique, and original. One of a kind.

Really good surprise this one! It´s all you espect from the genre: non stop action and also some comedy.
