Review: Matthew Hopkins (Vincent Price) – apparently ordinary crook, who was in the right time in the right place. It is very timely thought the war – a great way to gain. Hopkins got command of vagrants, выпивох, criminals, and decided to do the «job» – a witch-hunt. Of course, that the proceedings against the sorcerers – simply an excuse entertainment for the commoners. The true mission of these alleged events out of the way local authorities unwanted people that anyone насолили. Matthew with his заплечных masters, for a modest fee will deal with the perpetrators legitimate methods.
It is worth noting that identification picture of Michael Reeves to the genre of horrors – approval rather doubtful. In essence, this historical drama. The creators of the film, the context of well-known historical events (English revolution of the middle of XVII century) presented the audience a little sketch of everyday life of the English countryside. That’s all.
