Jason King, President of the Monarch Construction Company, is building an apartment block in South East Asia when his construction crew uncover a pit filled with thousands of deadly snakes. To avoid delays, King orders the snakes killed. After the slaughter, King’s wife dreams of a strange, exotic snake cult, led by an evil High Priestess (EARTHA KITT), who conjures up a giant Boa Constrictor from the underworld to crush King to his death. Believing the nightmare to be a warning, Mrs. King demands that her husband abandon the project — Mr. King ignores her plea. After several attacks on the construction workers by masses of snakes, Mrs. King in desperation seeks the help of Dr. Morgan Bates (CLINT WALKER), a renowned zoologist. His assistant Tim Moffett (CHRIS MITCHUM) decides, against Dr. Bates’ advice, to help Mrs. King locate and destroy the cult. They do not realise the supernatural powers of the cult, and soon
