Description of Hunting Grounds film: This is a good movie if you want to study what NOT to do. It fails in every possible way. Its nice that the writer/director was so ambitious, but the no-budget only hurts the effort. The scope is big but it only serves to let the movie fail in more ways. It’s not really a zombie movie; not really a sci-fi movie, and whatever socially relevant commentaries its attempting to make gets lost in the dreadfully obvious cgi blue screens. Most watchers won’t get through the 5 minute voice-over at the beginning of this before turning it off and watching ‘Shaun of the Dead’ again.
