Year: 2012
Duration: 1:39:43
Directed by: Éric Falardeau
Actors: Kayden Rose, Davyd Tousignant, Émile Beaudry
Language: English
Country: Canada
Also known as: Thanatomorphosis
Description: Thanatomorphose — word meaning the visible signs of decomposition of the body caused by death. One day, a young and beautiful girl wakes up and finds her flesh rotting.
A really slow, plotless movie. Apart from the rotting nothing is happening – no point, no sense, only the aesthetics of misery and an odd departure of the flesh. It is what one would call arthouse body horror. Unsettling if you’re not used to its standards, excruciatingly slow if you’re expecting a narrative structure.
