I love this movie as a parody of THE OMEN series of movies. The first “Rosemary’s Baby” movie was serious and a bit slow, but this one is *HILARIOUSLY* self-parodying in a deadpan way.
Basic plot. The child of the Devil is all grown up, the old folk’s witch coven still are hanging around. And Rosemary is still gasping occasionally in reaction shots.
However, the Devil Child falls into a life where he is seduced by sex, drugs, and rock music and finally ends up as an amateur mime who bottoms out, corrupted by a society naturally more seductive & evil than the Devil’s genetic drive. Granted the movie is a bit slow and heavily cliched these days, but the ending is hilarious as the grease painted face of Devil Junior ends with laughable shock.
The ending never fails to get a belly laugh from me even though it is never directly intentionally preachy about the message.
