| Storyline Don’t expect to see any known actors in this trashy flick from Greece. What you can expect though are exquisite summer shots of the beautiful island of Ithaka and some lovely dark Greek actresses in the prime of their beauty.Elektra is a young woman boringly engaged to a telephone company employee Vassilis. She is however secretly in love with her brother’s childhood friend Stefanos and often masturbates to closet sexual escapades with him. Her brother Aris is meanwhile involved in ‘sex buddy’ relationship with Katy. All of these five characters’ lives are soon turned upside down by the arrival of the mysterious and perverted Maria, wealthy daughter of a local shipbuilder. Using her sexual charms, she is able to convince Aris and Stefanos to steal an old and valuable icon from a Christian monastery. When Vassilis gets wind of the plot, he is rewarded with a severe beating and the pleasure of becoming Maria’s sex slave. Meanwhile, Elektra indulges herself in a lesbian encounter with Katy while also finally getting deflowered by Stefanos. There is a bit of a crime thriller angle courtesy the stolen icon. But all of that merely digresses from the main theme of sexual exploration and depravity amid some beautiful Greek islands and their beaches. |

The sound is pretty amazing, it all seems to have been made live in one take (or very few) by one band with drums, guitar, and a tape echo, including the sound of a boat engine in one scene (!)
