Description of the movie La Pirate: With the help of two strange friends, a man posing as a private detective and a teenage girl who carries a gun, Carol (Detmers) takes her former lesbian lover, Alma (Jane Birkin,) to a hotel in order to rekindle their relationship. Even though Alma is now married to a man, before long, the two once again become lovers. Things get even more confused when Alma’s husband appears at the hotel in an attempt to have Alma return to him.
