Description: Good Question! Anyone familiar with Troma knows that Kaufman (Incest Death Squad and Meat Weed America) has had a long, difficult history with the MPAA. Apparently, Troma wanted an R rated cut of Terror Firmer (for Blockbuster or something), but the cuts needed to bring it down to R would eviscerate the movie.Instead of just cutting all the material, there is liberal use of censored bars, over-obvious sound dubs, cards explaining the action not being shown, and all new filmed bits inset over censored scenes with Kaufman dancing, complaining or explaining what is going on.Unfortunately some scenes, like the escalator killing, the puppet murder and the female masturbation scene, are shortened severely or just cut right out completely so this is no replacement for the unrated version, but more of a special treat for Troma freaks/completists out there.
