Description: Creepy and dark horror movie with some very good splatter effects. It takes place in an abandoned farm house and surrounding corn field, where a team of thieves search for one of their group who has doublecrossed them after a robbery. Unfortunately the scarecrows in the field are ‘alive’ and murderous and not-too-happy to be disturbed. Starts off slow, but it gets better and gorier as it goes along. The scarecrows are well-designed and very creepy. The picture is a little too dark, but it sort of adds to nightmare ambience. This is the uncut DVD version from MGM.
