Description: BULLETPROOF HEART (aka KILLER) was filmed in Vancouver, B.C. and opens with The Troggs “Love is all Around” after hitman Anthony LaPaglia does a nasty job on a sleeping victim. Later Mimi roughs him up a little and he REALLY likes it. Maybe it’s the excellent view of her cleavage she allows while slapping him around.

Mick – a professional killer working for the mafia. He leads the measured life, fills orders and earns a lot of money. But everything changes when he was entrusted to remove a certain young lady.

Fiona is not just a charming woman – she has an inexplicable power over people with whom I communicate. Mick soon learns that she ordered Fiona own murder. But realizes that is no longer able to pull the trigger …

Review: Ambiguous, strange film rushing from black comedy to psychological drama looks exciting and leaves no one indifferent. In content than what is similar to a later picture of Stephen Elliott’s “Witness.”

The film Killer got me hooked right off the bat, mostly because of the fiery brunette Mimi Rogers, who has a great body and a gorgeous bust. But most of her roles tend to be the same – Rogers is such a villain, you’d better just run. And far away. And that’s not even the main thing. The movie is quite short; I would have extended the plot development, making the build-up and conclusion more logical and interesting. It starts with a hitman taking a break with a masseuse, realizing that he’s losing his mind. His job is like a daily routine in his life. His partner gives him the coordinates, mentioning that some guy would like someone taken care of. That’s when Rogers comes in – a drug addict and sexually obsessed psychopath. The second erotic scene isn’t played as vividly as Rogers can do it. For some reason, the film is shot in too dark tones. You can barely see anything. But the acting is commendable, essentially Mimi’s charisma makes the film one of the best thrillers of the 90s. However, the film is not without its flaws. From the middle, the flow breaks, starting a series of follies and blunders when Rogers loses her mind and completely gives herself away. See for yourself. The hitman tries to catch the thread, but temptation doesn’t give him a chance to rectify the situation, as he realized the meaning of life. But someone didn’t understand him. I didn’t understand why they had to spin the whole whirlwind in the ending. To finish the film? Possibly, here the scriptwriters screwed up big time. And even Rogers doesn’t save the film. The phrase at the end especially kills it: “I did it because I’m not shit, I’m a man!” That’s what it means to do everything not by yourself, but with your brothers in arms. It must be said, the customer Rogers played was just no good at all. An extra man, they could have done without him. But Mimi is splendid.”
