Description: The film’s story is set in Georgia in 1949. Shopkeeper Paris Trout is a convinced racist, unable to change. Finally, his hatred finds a way out, he brutally kills sister and mother of a black man, who didn’t pay him for the bill. During the arrest, he was very surprised and angry, “For what?”. His lawyer Harry Seagrave quite successfully defended him in court but he soon finds himself under arrest on suspicion of fraud and scams, along with his mistress and his wife Hannah Trout.
