Description: Group of visitors to Mexico got the chance to see the Folk Festival “Laughing death”. Nothing seemed to portend trouble. But the mystical land of the ancient Maya presents its terrible surprises. Thousands of years ago, to the goddess of death, the Aztecs sacrificed all mankind. And she came back … It is not easy to preserve life even more difficult to keep the mind … Starring Tim Sullivan who also played in Bloody Bloody Bible Camp

Laughing Dead is crazy enough, but atmospheric and damn bloody artifact from the director of the eighties, which, perhaps, does not know any of the living. The legend is interesting, but worked out extremely shoddy, action – ragged. The first forty minutes repeatedly provoke lazy yawns, the acting is appalling – especially with respect to overact mercilessly Um Ttseka and O’Sullivan. The cheapness of productions unpleasant shocks, and the logic here – an infrequent visitor. Dialogues – pure game in the spirit of the Godzilla films, reasonable motivation and actions of the characters – are absent, and the episodes designed to scare the viewer is left only his face puzzled grin.

In short, everything is bad. No. Worse. Typical halfpenny idiocy … but he has a positive side. First, the atmosphere. The funny side of it happening often spoils, and even destroys cleaned, but when the case does not interfere with screenwriter and ball ruled operator – almost everything perfectly. It is difficult to find fault locations – an old Mexican city looks decent, better place and did not come up. The level of cruelty – the highest, and a favorable impression of her fine work contributes spetseffektchikov and make-up artists. “Meat” – a lot. And, surprisingly, it was not botched. In “Laughing Death” ripped the heart, tear off his hands and stuffing them into another victim’s throat, punched brush skull, brains and bone turning into a bloody peas, not without demons and zombies quite decent, flowing green saliva. And believe me, that’s not all. The conclusion? Definitely a bad movie, but it is not devoid of merit, among them – a great make-up, excellent cruelty and decent atmosphere. Plus one point – for the final battle of the two Godzilla – it’s a must see!
