A “white line nightmare”? Not exactly, but there is a lot of off-road action. And Mary Beth Rubens who is just plain HOT (and takes her top off). There are also a lot of dirtbikes, dunebuggies, Pontiacs and a lot of dust. The plot is really more about relationships. Old McGavin (Red) has an estranged son who has the drools for Indie’s (Red’s friend) daughter Jill (Mary Beth Rubens). There is also a PSYCHO Native American cop riding with Doug McClure’s police biker gang. The movie Firebird needed more editing to lighten up the slow spots. Enjoy!

Review: A concept that promised an exciting car-based action movie turned out to be incredibly dull. Watching it as an action film is an agonizing experience. The only mildly entertaining aspect is a character who is excessively sexual, but her lines, filled with double entendres, are more comical than alluring. Overall, the movie fails to deliver on its potential.
