Well Alex, I just cannot believe you feel there is NOTHING valuable in “I Spit On Your Grave”.
The poor girl was brutally attacked, raped and humiliated. This particular movie scenario did not allow for ‘proper authorities’ to deal with the rape; mainly because the proper authority Was The Attacker and Murderer.
It’s a beautiful, unique “Eye for an Eye” retaliation and justice movie. The “value” is teaching that Evil does not win in the end. Fight Back!! Who the hell is going to hold it against her? Those men got exactly what they deserved – and more.
As a man – I can NEVER understand this rape concept. Hurting someone for pleasure is evil, bad, fucked-up.
The director and author – Zarchi got it right – in my opinion.
