Description: Four friends (Bruce, Ellen, Scotty, Shelley) come for the weekend in a country house. Bruce and Ellen go on a picnic, leaving Scott and Shelley house. Along the way, Bruce tells Ellen that there once was an Indian cemetery, and that hangs over this place curse. She, of course, raises it to laugh. Then in a clearing, Bruce unearths ancient ritual knife. They lie on the grass, talking, Bruce again starts talking about Indian curse. What can I say? The very first version of Evil Dead. How cool is that? Nice to see Sam Raimi got better as he honed his craft…Evil Dead 2 was the perfect balance of horror and comedy. One of the best.
