Description: After the terrible events of the University Miskatonic brilliant scientist Herbert West is serving time in a damp cell of the old provincial jail. He is still obsessed with the idea of reviving the sinister undead.
Using any available material, the West continues its heinous experiments, and it seems he is close to success – they highlighted substance that leaves the body at death. After receiving it, the deceased person must acquire not only life, but also the mind.
The doctor believes that new experiments with human flesh will confirm that he was right, but he did not provide their dangerous side effects …
This movie is a sequal to a famous film Re-Animator which has been released in 1985.
Review: “Return of the Re-Animator” – is actually the final part of the entertaining adventures of Dr. Herbert West, this film went to prison again and continued his crazy experiments. This picture was published in 2003 and although the director has once again delivered by Brian Yuzna (the direcotr of The Dentist), this tape is almost devoid of black humor and produces a much darker impression (though the final film is full of wicked taunts). Overall, the picture is still thrash with all its elements, so the viewer is waiting for an abundance of scenes of dismemberment, well removed by the operator Andrew Rebis, but also a decent standard of acting, although, of course, fiddle in the band performs Jeffrey Combs, for which the role of Herbert West was the key to his career.
In the background fade characters created by Elsa Pataky, Jason Barry and Simon Andreu.
“Return of the Re-Animator” – a good finale of the cult stories, taken from the purely European flavor (the film was produced by the Spaniard Julio Fernandez), although in the tradition of the American thrash movie, so I would recommend this funny, frightening film to all fans of the genre
Review #2: Continuation of the comedy horror film “Re-Animator”, which was mostly black humor and a lot of guts so much blood throughout the film. A unique genre that is different from the classical zombie horror films (here too we are a revival of the dead, but in a different way), and from the very very treshovyh horror films are just an incredible amount on the video. Jeffrey Combs as not quite sane scientist Herbert West and Brian Yuzna as the director of the newly created funny horror film in which the most derided cinematic resurrection of the dead, what shows as if a serious story West, finally put behind bars.
If you have seen the original “Re-Animator” and “Bride of the Recovery”, this film is in no way surprising. Corporate identity and the lack of dismemberment measures in terms of nudity and the general level of absurdity is recognized from the outset. Scare like that it will only be the most impressive, but those who understand such horror, heartily laugh at the absurdity of the events in the prison, which again resulted in crazy experiments of Herbert West. Look on his face and a crazy kind of hammered a lot of fun, and only when he starts to use his serum to everything, how can reach, even movie turns into a parody. The soundtrack at this time pleases cheer motifs reminiscent of classic horror thrash 80-90th.
Like the original, the first half of the film a little slack, and except for the main character, and even a couple of bad prison guards do not show anything. But as soon as the situation gets out of control this chaos begins in the spirit of the bloody ride. Again resurrected corpses torn to pieces by an unsuspecting West about the experiments, and the scene with a “half-hearted” crazy, running around the ceiling on hand so all can laugh to colic. Such nonsense was not even in the previous films, which may seem strange – because the creators are the same. But, most of all, that was the plan from the beginning – surprise buckets of blood and dead now very difficult, but the beat is so funny in the form of a really good solution.
In my opinion – the return Animator place, unless of course the approach to the film with humor.

I remember viewing this whenever I was young, plus it reminds me a great deal of the “Re-animator”. There was a ladies whom had somehow been “changed”, plus I think she required to consume a certain piece of peoples brains to remain alive, or receive smarter or even more gorgeous. Eventually the back of her head began to look like her brains were exposed (maybe) plus I think she began to mutate somehow. Really intimate, plus gory. I never think it was “Bride of Re-Animator” (that I believe I have not seen) or “From Beyond” yet the visuals were surprisingly synonymous.
I’m not certain which this might be an H.P. Lovecraft story, simply reminded me of a few of the movies which were made of his stories. There has to be somebody available which has enjoyed this. And I can’t be mixing it up with another movie, result I don’t even learn exactly what it was.
Any tips?
Way elder than Species. Early 80’s. No CGI. Real existence unique effects. Think “John Carpenters The Thing”. This wont be a available answer. I know my films. First time I’ve had to utilize this website to ask a film query.
