Description: Two short stories set in Edo during the Shogun era.
The film Shogun’s Sadism consists of two stories, the first is about the persecution of Christians in medieval Japan. The second – about the life of Japanese brothels of the 19th century. The film is full frames ways of torture and executions.
The first story takes place during a time when Christians are persecuted vehemently, and Iori falls in love with a young Christian girl. When she and her family are captured during a raid, his sadistic master takes her as her personal slave to torment him, and tries breaking her spirit by means of rape, torture and pure sadism. After Iori refuses to participate any longer he is exiled, but vows to get her back.
In the second story, Sutezo is forced to serve the cruel master of a brothel to repay his debts, where he becomes friends with the young girl Sato. Together, they escape and try to get by on scams and theft. This gruesome sickening exploitation flick is perfectly suitable for all gore addicts. It is loaded with shocking scenes of wholesome torture and sexual violence. We see women thrown into big vats of snakes, repeatedly raped, torn to pieces, cooked alive, beaten to death, crucified and then stabbed in the genitals with the spear, their feet crushed with a hammer, and a fetus ripped out straight from the womb. It’s a dream come true for fans for humiliation and utter depravity.
Shogun’s Sadism is a very tough Japanese shocker in 1976. By scenes of cruelty and naturalism exceeds such legendary films as “Cannibal Holocaust” or Deodato “Salo,” Pasolini. The film consists of two stories, the first is about the persecution of Christians in medieval Japan. The second – the life of the Japanese brothels of the 19th century. The film is full frames ways of torture and executions. Impressionable viewers strongly advise you not to watch this movie.
Of course, the most endearing scene in this film is when a woman is ripped apart by oxen who each have a rope attached to one of the woman’s limbs, tearing her apart when they run away from her.
