Not a direct movie request, but perhaps someone can help me identify a film I saw 7-8 years ago in Spain on TV. Don’t know the name, who was in it, or exact details of the plot (I don’t speak much Spanish), but it went like this…
Woman lives alone in a house, and is in a wheelchair. Guy is hired to break in and find something. He’s there when she returns home, so he hides. For almost half the movie, he’s living in the house with her, without her knowing he’s there. She sits in the living room evenings watching TV, and he’s peeking over the back of the couch watching with her; he takes showers when she goes outside to garden or to shop. Eventually, there is something about things being hidden in the basement, and a false wall that allows someone from a nearby house to cross over to her house. In the end, he’s fallen in love with her and saves her form the villain.
Anyone have a clue what the film might be? I saw it in Madrid on TV in May 2005. It was fairly current, in color, not an old film.
