Description: A young woman and her friend travel to some distant village to visit her father. Upon arrival they learn that the man has been killed and his body is being transported to his hometown. They want to find the body, but it is stolen by the evil Zombie-King.
Together with some newfound allies they fight against the evil clan.

The story of this film is all over the place.
Our heroes stumble from set-piece to set-piece without any real coherence.
There are voodoo priests that re-animate the dead to transport them through the country.
There is a great fight against a zombie at an inn. A weird WTF moment at the beginning involving maggots. There is an Indiana Jones Scene in a cave. There are short martial arts scenes, an overlong and unnecessarily long wedding scene and so on.

But (with the exception of the weddingscene) the film never gets boring and keeps surprising the viewer.
It seems as if nobody was surre what kind of movie to make, so they threw it all into the mix.

The heroine is beautiful, her friend is obnoxious, the villain is eeeevil!

Highly recommended
