Review: Basically a romance tale about a journalist wanting to select among triumph, his best buddy, and a lover with a mystical history, THE LAST WORD also provides a variety of digs at Hollywood. Regrettably, the story here can not fit the bold aims of the idea.
Martin (Timothy Hutton), a Detroit reporter with a brand new guide, goes to a celebration with his mob-connected friend Doc (Joe Pantoliano). He fulfills Sara (Michelle Burke), a striptease artist who consents to be surveyed for a tale. As she says to him own tips, they feel a increasing appeal. Soon they become partners.
