Description of the Bouncer: A slice of Danish A.S.S. is presented for consideration! Sister fucker Jaime Lannister plays Danish bad boy bouncer Svend. Torn between the elderly antics of his doolally mean old drunk of a father and his pill popping reclusive mother he’s also got to deal with an ex-army hermit brother and his own crippling insecurities about whether his skanky girlfriend is banging her gay (male) best friend. Nobody does pitch black family dramedy like the Dane’s and this one is a pretty good example; poor old Svend’s mounting tension is palpable and the last act with him running around with his father’s corpse is excellent. Plus it’s always nice to see Iben Hjejle again especially as she seems to take it doggy style in every fucking film she appears in, including High Fidelity!
Review of Manden bag døren movie: The film is based on real events. The main character, Svend Johansson, lives with his girlfriend, Lizzie. His mother had recently moved into a new apartment, and the father does not depart from the bottle. In his declining years the parents are on the verge of divorce, and the son is trying to prevent it, but soon realizes that his personal life was about to go down the drain. Svend is faced with a choice: to help parents improve relations, thereby breaking with Lizzie, or throw old father and live your life?
