Description: A Canadian production, A MATTER OF CUNNING is something of an ’80s update of the classic pre-Code film BABY FACE, with all the nudity that could not be included in the earlier film. In the Barbara Stanwyck role, Callan White disrobes multiple times throughout the film. Nancy Cser (later seen naked in PERFECT TIMING) and Lynne Cormack also shed their clothes at least one time in the course of the film. Page Fletcher, soon to be known as “the Hitchhiker” is the starving artist boyfriend and Hollywood old-timer John Ireland, who seems to be willing to take on anything for a buck, is a corporate bigwig.
