Description: A pleasant gritty-wannabe Canadian thriller from the 80’s that ends up being occasionally goofy.
Taxi driver Tony Galati (first and apparently only screen appearance) tries to save Cynthia Preston from the claws of a snuff pornographer, who’s portrayed by Peter Reed (Dementia 13) as an over the top villain who could almost double for Michael Ironside, plus his loyal manic thug.
There’s also David Hewlett (from Pin and Scnners II) as a junkie ex-boyfriend.
Granted, not much of the ‘snuff pornography’ is apparent on screen, but mostly implied.
There’s a couple of funny chase sequences and colorful characters that add to the general 80’s vibe.
