| Storyline: ATF agent Stewart Cumming’s job is to patrol the backwoods and mountain regions of West Virginia looking for local moonshiners to bust up. However, he also plays both sides of the law. His paycheck not being enough to cover the medical bills of his ailing girlfriend, he resorts to providing local drug runners safe passage for a fee. Meanwhile, Travis just released from jail, returns to the backwoods to live with his Grandpap Jake since he has nowhere to go. Jake then decides to teach Travis how to perform a “header,” a form of avenging the persons who have wronged them. As dead header victims start to pile up, Stewart decides to do his own investigation. After his superior has explained to him the meaning of a header, the truth sends him into a hellish world he has never imagined. His own curiosity pushes him closer to a gruesome conclusion.
