The good ol days of the 1980’s VHS market, they really would just put out any kind of rubbish to make a quick buck whether it made any sense or not. And masturbation fodder was marketed and disguised in every way conceivable. “The Wildest Office Party” certainly fits this criteria. The film vividly recreates the heady atmosphere of an authentic 1980s office party, back when every office had a stage, it’s own comedian/emcee and where female office workers were required to take the stage and strip and be fondled while their perverted male coworkers drunkenly hooted and hollered.

The event is hosted by the inimitable “Cory Pepper” like he’s auditioning for a role in “Gorp 2”, as office workers compete in a variety of contests requiring varying amounts of nudity. I seem to recall seeing a brief clip from this on some recent mixtape from the found footage guys or Everything Is Terrible (or a similar group). The box art sez “Wildest Office Party” but the end title screen reads “Wildest Office Strip Party”. Oh, I also must mention that the (official) VHS copy I have has no introduction, credits or anything at all at the beginning. I rewound the tape several times all the way to the beginning and every time I hit play, it just starts playing right during one of Mr. Pepper’s jokes, which sucks because you never know, it just might have been the funny one.
