Description: Ali, with his young son, leaves the boy’s mother and travels to for Antibes on France’s cote d’azur to live with his sister, Anna, and her husband as a family. One night while working at a night club as a bouncer, Ali, a former boxer, meets Stephanie (Cotillard), a killer-whale trainer. After she is injured in a brawl at the night club, Ali drives her home, checking out her attractive legs, as he does so. Stephanie lives with a boyfriend of whom she is not enamored. When Stephanie suffers a horrible accident, forcing her to live life alone as a double amputee in a wheelchair, she calls Ali on the telephone. The bond between them grows stronger, romantic, and sexual, both she and Ali start a new life.
