Guardian of the Realm

Fun little movie I discovered the existence of while stumbling around on Japanese blogs one day.  This is a movie similar to say, Blade or Constantine, that sort of action-scifi religious-fiction sort of setting.  However, this movie is very low budget, yet somehow still manages to make some pretty convincing special effects.  if you are at all a fan of Tokusatsu, this has a similar flavor to independent productions in that genre.  I didn’t see any repainted light guns, but they do reuse props from other movies (judge dredd and lord of the rings, apparently).  I’ve heard they want to make a series out of this, so maybe someday this will get censored play on sci-fi channel or such.  yes, that means boobs.
