James Tiberius Kirk as a hard-nosed Secret Service agent? Actually, it works rather efficently in this, since Shatner really reins in his usual hamminess. The rest of the cast is good as well. I’ve never seen a bad Holbrook role and Fernandez really shines as the cold-blooded Assanti. This really plays out like a made-for-TV movie, only with more swearing and blood.
