Description: Sadistic low-budget thriller about newlyweds Dack Rambo and Rebecca Danna Smith who are pursued and terrorized by a pair of rural killer rapists. One of the psychos is John Beck from the ’60s rock group the Leaves (“Hey Joe”). Filmed in Louisana. Nicholas Roeg (“Don’t Look Now”), the original director, was replaced by Elliott Silverstein after five days of shooting.
Enjoying a honeymoon, the couple is becoming a witness of the murder, causing attack by two thugs.
This film is MEGA MEGA rare – i’ve sought this puppy out for ages and finally aquired a few months back in a trade. Of course it’s a letdown given it’s misleadingly lurid LHOTL style poster and reputation however it’s still a solid, though PG/tv movie style suspense film with interesting New Orleans locations.
