Description: Mutation was an excellent German splatter/gore flick from 1999 by Timo Rose, whose work is well represented here on WIP. He followed his Mutation with 2 sequels, Generation Dead and Century of the Dead….Several years later he took parts 2&3, condensed them into one movie, adding lots of special effects and bits that weren’t in either sequel and the result was. ‘Mutation Annihilation,’ His best work since the original Mutation. The backstory is that during WW2, Hitler had commissioned a scientist to create a drug that gave normal people, superhuman strength and powers. The drug was thought to be destroyed in the Nazi defeat, but some of it was stored away. When it gets out and starts infecting people, all hell breaks loose…
