Prolific Nikkatsu business manager Yasuharu Hasebe entered the Seven Samurai legends of Shichinin No Samurai with his personal popular Naraneko Rokku collection, outfitted it up with some of the some fashionable softcore pinup queens of the day, and obtained one of the studio’s few crossover achievements of the period. Although US viewers, who saw the movie as The Naked Seven, no question respected its barely clad woman warriors fighting thieves to save a small town, it is likely that the parodic story (by cult director Atsushi Yamatoya) was misplaced on most non- Japanese people. Desirable actresses Mari Tanaka, Yuri Yamashina, and Keiko Tsuzuki appear around Genshu Hanayagi, who had triggered a scandal sooner in the year by switching from classical dancing to the naughty overabundance of Maruhi: Shikijo Mesu Ichiba
